Director's Profile
Pro. A. K. Munshi, M.D.S. Pedodontics is a great academician with over
30 years of teaching experience in the field of Dental Sciences.His illustrious
career is replete with trailblazing success and dedication towards his profession
as Registrar, Medical College, Srinagar (1975-76), Lecturer, Medical college
Jammu (1976-83), Asst. Prof. Dental College Srinagar (1983-88), Associate Prof.,
Dental College, Srinagar (1988-90) and Sr. Prof. & Head, Pedodontics, ABSMIDS,
Mangalore(1990-2001).
Dr. Munshi has many laurels to his credit. He is the founder member and Ex-President
of Indian Society of Pedodontics & Preventive Dentistry. He is on the panel of various
selection committees of service commissions. Last but not the least, Dr. Munshi has a
list of national and international publications to his credit and was on the editorial
board of Journal of ISPPD and the international Journal of Human Genetics.
He has also contributed a chapter in the book of Pediatric Dentistry. Besides these,
Dr. Munshi is laso a post-graduate guide in Pedodontics.
